Here's a little about me- let me preface that my love for taking photos roots from my passion for connections, shared moments between people. So naturally, I’m a big time people person. Hugs over handshakes, always (dumb covid messing up everything for those of us with a physical touch love language, am I right?). A few of my very favorite things: my family (hubby and black lab pup), reading mystery/thriller novels, chai lattes, being outside, binge watching The Office (for the 8th time at this point), dancing in the kitchen, and traveling to new places.
For me, I wanted my business name and model to be centered around serving others- specifically, those in my community here in the Kansas City area. By capturing your special moments with you and/or your loved ones, it’s my ultimate goal to provide you with images that tell your story, that you’ll be able to treasure for a lifetime.
Experience over production
My photography style isn't for everyone, and that's totally okay! But we're totally a great fit if you love those candid, in between moments, adore your people more than anything in the world. I prefer to pose and then prompt, creating an experience for you and yours that is natural and intimate. Trust me- it makes for the most stunning images!
I'll say it once and I'll say it until the end of time- love makes the world go round. And I'm the luckiest for knowing a love that grows, encourages, challenges me. Let me tell you about my soulmate.
Brandon and I met in college @ K-State through mutual friends. I worked at the campus rec center, and he'd so conveniently time his workouts during my shifts (and yes, I'd totally time my rounds to catch a glimpse of him lifting weights- oops). Honestly, we couldn't stay away from each other. We fell fast in love, and the rest is history. That's the short version. But honestly? Our story grows deeper and stronger and fuller with each day.
He's my partner in every way, and I absolutely love that the stars aligned to bring us together.
