I am seriously SO glad you’re here! Truly, I feel so honored that you’re trusting me to capture these images for you.
The purpose of this client guide is to answer any and every question you might have about what to expect at each stage of our time together. Beyond the details, I think it’s important you also know that our experience together is more than me providing a service.
PHOTOGRAPHY IS PERSONAL.
Which is why I can’t wait to get to know you, what makes you so unique, and get to work on providing you with images that you will love for a lifetime! Still have a few questions? Let’s get together for coffee, queso, cocktails… you name it, I’m so there!
My editing time typically takes about 4 weeks for weddings/elopements, 2 weeks for all other sessions. When your images are ready, you'll receive your them within a digital gallery that allows you to download, favorite, and share your images and purchase any products (prints, albums, canvases, etc).
YES! It's finally here! Basically, our shoot will look like this: we'll all be hanging out, exploring beautiful locations, and you'll be looking amazing as always! All the while, I'll be prompting you in ways to help you look super natural in front of the camera. Don't worry about practicing your poses- I'll help you look your very best!
The best way to start the process is by filling out the inquiry form, but if DM, email or texting is more your speed, that's fine too! I typically book out about 2 months in advance (even earlier during busy season), so the sooner you reach out, the better! To reserve your date, I require a deposit and contract signature.
I want to hear exactly what you hope to capture in these images. Maybe you've got a whole Pinterest board dedicated, or you don't even know where to start (no stress, I've got endless ideas and location suggestions)! Regardless, we will talk through everything from time, location, style, what to wear, and so on. I want to make sure you feel prepared and excited!
I'm all here for it!! Let's hop on a zoom call, meet up for coffee, cocktails, queso- you name it! I'd love to get to know each other more and help answer any and all of your questions.
My biggest suggestion for outfits is to wear something that makes you feel both confident and comfortable! Layers and accessories always photograph well (hats are a major bonus), and steer clear of neon colors and really tiny prints if possible.
I don't have any travel fees for sessions located in the KC metro! For all sessions outside of that range, I just charge the standard 5o cents per driving mile of travel. Sessions that include flights out of KC will be discussed in a custom quote depending on our location!
Great question! First, we'll talk through what look/style you're going for, and I'll help you brainstorm a location or two that fits your description. I've got a whole long list of suggested locations as well, if you'd rather have something to brainstorm from!
